knowing more about me!

ME Telling MORE about MYSELF...

My name is JACQUELINE ANG,  I am a student from Republic Polytechnic currently study Diploma in Media Production and Design. 

As I am always interested in Media production, wanting to find out more about how things work behind the scene, and now after having chance to do production in school I find that is a lot harder than what most people think.  HOWEVER, I still find it interesting and challenging and want to learn more once I am out in the industry.  As production always look interesting to me and I enjoy working as a team as well as individual and working behind the scene.

I enjoy looking at advertisement or poster design when I am out, before I studied graphic design whenever I came upon interesting design ad I would wonder how the designer thought of this idea,  they are so smart and creative. HOWEVER again for now  whenever I  across interesting design ad I would try and figured it out how they do it and take note of the idea and try to re create it in my own project in school if I need it.

EDUCATION
I graduate from Serangoon Garden Secondary and I was in the Guzheng Ensemble
as a committee member,logistic head. From there I learnt about teamwork
and I think it benefit me a lot in Poly, especially during  project where we need
to work together as a team, to solve problem and make this work. 

WORK EXPERIENCE
I started working as a part timer when I was 17. Not like others who go out and find
job opportunities, I decided to help out my dad who has a stall at market first, and
went to a store that sells Baby Clothing during the Nov holiday, where I have to do
the opening/closing of the store,  cashier, assist the customer. And from there
I learn how to communicate well with different people and making sure things
that have been tasked to me is being done. 

SKILLS
For my skills in different area, I think for design I am more
comfortable with Illustrator as compare to others.
For editing skill, as basic editing is still fine but when it comes to
special effect, I feel that I am still weak in that. But I am keen to learn from others.
